The Fremont County Election Division, operating under the Fremont County Clerk's Office, is dedicated to coordinating, preparing, and processing all general, primary, and coordinated elections in Fremont County, Colorado. Our mission is to ensure the integrity of all elections, and to provide every eligible elector the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.

As part of the Clerk's Office, we are entrusted with:

- Registering eligible citizens to vote
- Maintaining accurate voter rolls
- Coordinating elections with special districts, school districts, municipalities, and the Colorado Secretary of State
- Conducting yearly elections in November, with more frequent elections in even years

Fremont County is home to approximately 35,000 registered voters, with about 31,000 classified as "active" voters. We strive to keep our voter information up-to-date and encourage all residents to regularly check and update their voter status.


Our Leadership

Justin D Grantham has proudly served as Fremont County Clerk and Recorder since 2019. As the Chief Election Official of the County, he leads our office with a commitment to professionalism, knowledge, and effectiveness.

The Clerk's Office is the front-facing office of the county, handling a wide range of administrative responsibilities critical to both public and private sectors. We are highly dedicated to providing a level of customer service that our community can be proud of.
